Toy Box Pattern and Design Guide

Step #1

First of all you’ll need to choose a large or medium sized toy box. Large are 900mm long x 450mm deep x 500mm high and medium are 600mm long x 450mm deep x 500mm high.

They all come with finger cut outs on the front and soft close lids so little fingers will not get trapped.

Next, choose a toy box colour. We only use Farrow and Ball paints or you can choose plain waxed or mid oak. A selection of ideas is below:

Next, choose an engraving colour or leave as is with the same colour as the toy box. Different coloured engraving really makes the design and text stand out!

Step #4

Choose a lid colour: naturally waxed. light oak or mid oak.

Step #5

Write a name and/or inscription.

Step #6

Choose whether you want handles or not. We have a choice of cut out, brass or iron.

Step #7

All of our boxes give you the option to add a message under the lid which will make special memories to be treasured for years.

Choose whether you would like to add a catch and lock.
